Wellness Chiropractic

We define chiropractic as the location and removal of the vertebral subluxation, which is interference that is taking place in your central nervous system (CNS). It is important to recognize that our CNS is the master controller of our entire body and it directly correlates to our ability to function and exist. People who are suffering from allergies, asthma, headaches, etc. may be living in a subluxated state. When we provide these individuals with an adjustment, we are able to remove or decrease the interference being caused, and on many occasions the symptoms resolve. In addition, we have experienced patients who under regular chiropractic care actually prevent these situations from impeding upon their lives.

Prenatal Chiropractic

Prenatal chiropractic care maybe something to consider during pregnancy as there are several physiological and endocrinological changes that occur in preparation for creating the environment for the developing baby. The following changes could result in a misaligned spine or joints: Protruding abdomen and increased back curve Pelvic changes Postural adaptations Establishing pelvic balance and alignment is another reason to obtain chiropractic care during pregnancy. When the pelvis is misaligned it may reduce the amount of room available for the developing baby. This restriction is called intrauterine constraint. A misaligned pelvis may also make it difficult for the baby to get into the best possible position for delivery. This can affect the mother’s ability to have a natural, non-invasive birth. Breech and posterior positions can interfere with the natural ease of labour and lead to interventions such as c-sections. The nervous system is the master communication system to all the body systems including the reproductive system. Keeping the spine aligned helps the entire body work more effectively.

Total Body Modification

Total Body Modification (TBM) is an advanced kinesiology technique that evaluates, rebalances and resets energy imbalances found in the organs and functions of the body that require resolution before an individual can achieve true health. It identifies the imbalances using the technique of muscle testing, and corrects the problem by restoring balance to the nervous system by stimulating reflex points located along the spine.
