Synthetic hair is the most commonly used hair type for wigs and high quality synthetic strands give the look of real hair. Synthetic wigs are much cheaper than human hair wigs but have one disadvantage – they can get damaged by prolonged exposure to heat. For this reason, heat friendly synthetic hair is also available for wigs.
